Light rail and boat

• Take the light rail from the airport to the city center end stop light rail.
• Go to the boat terminal to Askøy in city center approximately 10 minutes walking to Strandkaien.
• You can use the same SKYSS ticket light rail to city center and all the way to Kleppestø/Strusshamn/Askøy including boat trip €4.
• You can use the same SKYSS ticket bought at the airport on the boat to Askøy/Kleppestø Euro4.
• See timetable boat. The boat commute Mon-Fri from 0630am and 1730pm and Saturday 0630am until 1500pm.
• No boat on Sundays.
  When you get off the boat you can walk, take the bus og walk to Elcampervan location in Strusshamn.

Light rail and bus

• Take the tramp from the airport to Bergen city center.
• You get off the tramp/light rail at the local bus station; it stops inside the bus terminal.
• This makes it easy to connect to the bus to Askøy to get to the Elcampervan location and pick up your rental car.
• You can us the bus with number 485.

• When travelling with light rail and bus you only pay €4 per person including both rail and bus.
• It takes approximately 1hour and 15minutes to get to Elcampervan pickup location.

Taxi

• You can take a taxi outside airport terminal building.
• It takes 20 minutes to get to Elcampervan, Lyngneset 20, location Strusshamn
• Price approximately €60.

Pickup your rental car

• When you get to Elcampervan pickup location we will meet you or you can pick up keys at Esso Gas Station shop. The mini camper vans will be parked outside.

• We will in advance guide you how to pick up your rental car outside opening hours. Pickup fee after 1600 €20.

IMPORTANT: General rule pickup car from 1400 and return of car before 1100 if not otherwise agreed in advance.

Planning your travelling route along the Coast, Fjord and Mountain

We recommend you plan a roundabout, start and ending I Bergen/Askøy, visiting small villages along the coast and go mountain walking or other preferred activities along the fjord in western part of Norway.

Before picking up the rental car

• Rental agreement and Terms and Conditions must be confirmed.
• Rental payment, deposit and deposit toll must must be paid as stated in rental agreement.
• Agreed pick up time must be kept. Inform us if not. 
• Pickup after 1600 fixed fee €20.
• Pickup Saturday and Sunday fee €20 (only one fee either pickup or return).

Insurance – deposit

• Rental agreement comes with Standard Collision Damage Waver CDW with maximum self-risk €1200 
• Deposit CDW insurance to be paid before pickup €600.
• You can upgrade your insurance to Super Collission Damage Waver SDCW at a cost €10 per day.
• Your maximum self-risk will be reduced to €600. 
• Deposit SCDW to be paid before pickup €600. 
• Deposit will be returned if nothing is happening.

Toll deposit

• Toll deposit €100 is covering road toll and ferries where you will be charged a fee.
• This is being done automatically with a system called Autopass everywhere in Norway.

You pay for the rental normally 30 days before pickup. You can pay by:
