elcampervan sustainable holiday

Elcampervan wants to be a part of sustainable tourism in Europe.
We are a small company and we would like to act locally and think globally.
We want to be a part of the transition from fossil transportation to electricity in the coming years.
We hope within a few years all our vans will be electric or have as low emissions as possible with available technology in the transport industry.
In addition to this we want to use environmentally friendly cleaning and handling products, preparing our camper vans for our customers and waste treatment.
We are using only products which are approved by Miljøsvanen/EU Ecolabel.
At our local pickup and return stations we have waste treatment in accordance with rules from local authorities.
In each county there is a public waste management company that handles the waste from households and businesses in the local municipality.
  These rules are things like sorting food waste, plastic, metal, paper and gas containers in separate bins, ready to be collected.
The same sorting applies to the products and equipment we use in preparing vans and cleaning sheets and towels.
Elcampervan are following these rules which ensure that all waste from our customers is handled properly.
Important! When you are traveling around in Norway, please don’t throw waste in our nature.
Use waste bins and other waste facilities along your route.
If you use the right to roam, store your waste until you get to a small town or other places where you can get rid of your waste in a proper manner.
